Sustaining Our Seniors

Helping the seniors of this district maintain affordable, healthy and sustainable lifestyles is a passion of mine, closely aligned with my mission of building healthy communities. This web page contains resources to help our seniors thrive, and will be maintained on an ongoing basis. If you have information about a resource or initiative that you would like my office to include on this page, please email us at district95@nyassembly.gov.

Affordable Comfort and Savings for Your Home
If the appliances in your home are nearing the end of their life, you are in a good position to consider choosing more sustainable new alternatives that can help you save money. Representatives from Sustainable Westchester shared a great overview of new heating and cooling appliances during their presentation on home energy options during my Sustaining Our Seniors senior forum this July. Click here to view the slides and learn more about what is available, including rebates and incentives that can make them more affordable.

Important note: Electric appliances are a choice, not a mandate, for existing homes. Click here to learn the facts about New York’s push toward electric buildings.
