Along with my Hudson Valley colleagues in the State Legislature, I have been pushing hard to ensure that our roads get the resources and attention they need. We are making progress on this front, starting with the scheduled repaving of sections of Route 9A this year (2024). I am in conversation with our NYSDOT Regional Director and his staff about the state roads in our area, and have shared with them a list of the roads I receive the most complaints about.
