  TITLE OF BILL: An act to authorize a study of the traffic conditions in the incorpo- rated village of Cedarhurst and its immediate boundaries, thoroughfares, county and state roads; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof   PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL: Authorizes a study of the traffic conditions in the incorporated village of Cedarhurst and its immediate boundaries, thoroughfares, county and state roads.   SUMMARY OF PROVISIONS: Section 1. The commissioner of transportation, in consultation with the department of motor vehicles, the Nassau county department of transpor- tation, the village of Cedarhurst department of transportation, the governor's traffic safety committee, local police agencies, local government stakeholders, and any other agency or group the department of transportation deems necessary to enlist the aid of, shall conduct a study to evaluate the traffic conditions in the incorporated village of Cedarhurst and its immediate boundaries, thoroughfares, ccunty and state roads. Such study shall include, but not be limited to, evacuation routes in the event of a natural or manmade disaster.   JUSTIFICATION: This Bill authorizes the study of the traffic conditions in the Incorpo- rated Village of Cedarhurst and its immediate boundaries, thoroughfares, county and state roads.   LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: New bill.   FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: None.   EFFECTIVE DATE: This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be 12 deemed repealed two years after such effective date.

        AN  ACT  to  authorize a study of the traffic conditions in the incorpo-
          rated village of Cedarhurst and its  immediate  boundaries,  thorough-
          fares,  county  and  state roads; and providing for the repeal of such
          provisions upon expiration thereof

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The commissioner of transportation, in  consultation with
     2  the department of motor vehicles, the Nassau county department of trans-
     3  portation, the village of Cedarhurst department of  transportation,  the
     4  governor's  traffic  safety  committee,  local  police  agencies,  local
     5  government stakeholders, and any other agency or group the department of
     6  transportation deems necessary to enlist the aid  of,  shall  conduct  a
     7  study to  evaluate the traffic conditions in the incorporated village of
     8  Cedarhurst and its immediate boundaries, thoroughfares, county and state
