Pheffer Amato Drops Off Masks and Sanitizer to Rockaway Businesses

Rockaway, Queens This past week, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D Rockaway), continued her district wide face mask and hand sanitizer drop off to local businesses within her district that are in need. The businesses included the Harbor Light Pub & Restaurant located on Newport Ave in Belle Harbor and Avoid the Day Bookstore on Rockaway Beach Blvd in Rockaway Beach. Pheffer Amato has been distributing face masks and hand sanitizer for the past several months to local businesses and organizations to help combat and ensure that all residents have access to vital virus prevention materials.

“It is great news for our community that our local shops and businesses are able to open, and I commend all these business owners for their hard work and preparation in ensuring everyone’s safety during this time,” Pheffer Amato said. “It is not easy to navigate the changing rules our businesses have to face and I am happy to assist in any way possible.”

Pheffer Amato encourages businesses in need of such materials to contact her directly via email at amatos@nyassembly.gov or by calling her Rockaway District Office at 718 945 9550.
