Pheffer Amato Distributes Masks and Hand Sanitizer to Local Synagogues

South Queens, New York This past week, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato (D-South Queens) delivered masks and hand sanitizer to synagogues throughout her district. Since the start of the pandemic, Pheffer Amato has delivered masks and hand sanitizer to dozens of religious institutions as congregations are able to increase their capacity indoors.

“As we continue to move through our phased reopening, temples all over my district are eagerly welcoming back their congregants – a great sign of a return to normalcy,” Pheffer Amato said. “I love personally dropping off the supplies and catching up with the community. Every little bit helps, and I’m happy to do my part to help my community return from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic safely.”

Pheffer Amato will be dropping off more masks and hand sanitizer refills in the coming weeks. To request masks and hand sanitizer refills for your house of worship, please contact Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato’s office by phone at 718-945-9550, or by email at amatos@nyassembly.gov.
