- Assemblywoman Fahy joins colleagues to support Water Infrastructure in the 2017 Budget which eventually included $2.5 billion for infrastructure improvements, including $150 million for shared inter-municipal water/sewer improvement projects and $50 million for new green infrastructure projects.

- "It's a little difficult to make America great again, if you're going to make America sick again." Assemblymember Fahy joined representatives from Citizen Action, AFSCME and SEIU at a press conference to make our voices heard on the possible repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

- Assemblymember Fahy met in August 2016 with members of the a Nigerian delegation hosted by the International Center of the Capital Region and shared her experience with the NYS Legislative Women's Caucus as well as running for office in New York State.
 - Assemblywoman Patricia Fahy, her daughter Eileen Bequette, and sisters Bernadette Fahy and Marian Fahy biked the Tour de Erie Canal! She became the first state legislator to cycle across the Canalway, from Buffalo to Albany. "It was one of the most fascinating things I have ever done," Fahy said. "For me, it was physically challenging. It really taught me a lot about upstate New York. It was spectacularly beautiful. I did it as a way to learn the state.
