Assemblyman Scott Gray (R, Watertown) is calling on students from Watertown Central School District, Thousand Island Central School District and members of the community to participate in a ‘Valentines for Seniors Drive.’ Students and community members are asked to write Valentine’s Day cards for seniors living in local nursing homes. Gray and his staff will hand-deliver these cards to seniors at Samaritan Summit Village and the Paynter Center.

The submission deadline from all cardmakers is February 10.

“I look forward to connecting members of our community this Valentine’s Day,” said Gray. “The holidays can often be difficult for seniors in nursing homes if they don’t have family or friends nearby. Thank you to the students at each school district and members of the community who wish to participate. While this is just a simple gesture of kindness, it will help spread the love to everyone.”

Cards can be dropped off in-person or mailed to Assemblyman Gray’s district office at:
