Smullen: New Year, New Session, New Ideas

A Statement from Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C-Mohawk Valley and the Adirondacks) on the New York State Assembly’s first day of legislative session.

“This legislative session, it’s time we bring new ideas and new legislation to the table to ensure our families, veterans, schools, first responders and small businesses are looked after. I was grateful to organize and be a part of multiple rural equity forums last year where my fellow assemblymembers and I learned a lot about the issues plaguing our rural communities. Now that legislative session has begun, I am eager to voice the concerns we heard from residents and share ideas for legislation that will help revitalize rural regions of the state.”
