Smullen Reacts to Attack on the State of Israel
A Statement from Assemblyman Robert Smullen

“The unprovoked and abhorrent attack on the state of Israel by Hamas is a reminder that terrorists will stop at nothing in their efforts to humiliate and destroy a peaceful partner in a large global alliance.
“I have very close friends of my own in Israel. I've been near Gaza where innocent women and children have been taken hostage. While one of America's strongest partners’ in the world sees the face of evil with the strikes by Hamas, it's imperative we show our solidarity in this time of disruption and fear. The proud nation of Israel has a right to exist and our federal government should take all steps necessary to help ensure it can.”
