Smullen Welcomes SUNY Chancellor King To FMCC

Today, Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C-Mohawk Valley and the Adirondacks) welcomed SUNY Chancellor John B. King Jr. to Fulton-Montgomery Community College (FMCC). They met with FMCC President Dr. Greg Truckenmiller and other leaders, as well as toured the campus.

“I want to thank Chancellor King for visiting FMCC; as the ranking member of the Assembly Committee on Higher Education, I make it my priority to work to improve all colleges in New York. Community Colleges play an important role not only in my district, but in the state as a whole,” said Smullen.

Smullen also talked about how impressed he was with FMCC, and the important role it plays in his district.

“FMCC is amazing, from its beautiful campus to its great professors, staff and students, I am always impressed whenever I visit. A big thank you to Dr. Truckenmiller and other members of the FMCC leadership team for hosting the chancellor today. FMCC truly is a gem in my district and does great work helping those who want a higher education, achieve that goal,” concluded Smullen.
