Rozic Kicks Off Inaugural District Bike Ride

Flushing, NY– Today, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Fresh Meadows) kicked off the first Assembly District 25 Bike Ride. Joined by local residents and Star Track Cycling, a NYC based youth cycling program, Rozic led riders through Kissena, Peck, and Cunningham Parks. The parks, in the heart of Rozic’s district, are a part of the Brooklyn-Queens Greenway – a 40 mile pedestrian and cycling path connecting NYC parks.

“In hosting today’s bike ride, we are raising awareness about our parklands and ways to enjoy them,” said Rozic. “This was a great opportunity for the community to come together and highlight parts along the path that need improvements. Thanks to today’s success I look forward to future bike rides and more healthy partnerships with the community that promotes all that Queens has to offer.”
