In response to the State Legislature’s vote approving a statewide property tax cap that provides rebates to homeowners over four years starting in 2016, Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D,WF-Flushing) issued the following statement:

“The property tax rebate will help make life easier for many Queens homeowners whose property taxes are among the most burdensome expenses. As part of the four-year program, the average rebate for residents living in New York City suburbs will be $130. This measure, along with the previously approved Property Tax Freeze Credit will provide the relief that families deserve.”
