Assemblymember Wallace Presents Proclamation to Aunt Robin’s Diner for Feeding Those in Need

Assemblymember Monica P. Wallace (D-Lancaster) recently presented a proclamation to Robin Finsterbach, owner of Aunt Robin’s Diner, 3580 Walden Ave., Lancaster, for providing hundreds of meals to local residents in need. Since 2014, Ms. Finsterbach has provided hundreds of free meals to families in need around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, as well as provided free lunches to youth throughout the year.

Ms. Finsterbach gave away over 220 meals around last Christmas and over 400 meals around last Thanksgiving. She and members of her family reportedly worked for weeks to cook 300 pounds of turkey to feed people in need this past November.

“Despite the pandemic hurting business at most restaurants, Robin not only continued her charity, but actually gave away more meals to our neighbors in need,” said Assemblymember Wallace. “Her kindness and generosity are inspiring and a shining example of why we are the City of Good Neighbors.”
