In response to reports that Lockport-based Racial Nationalist Party of America flyers were distributed on several streets in Cheektowaga, Assemblymember Monica Wallace (D-Lancaster) has issued the following statement:

“This hateful, divisive rhetoric has no place in our community — or any community. Those looking to divide us will find no sympathy and no success here.

“While we do not yet know whether these flyers are genuine or just a pathetic joke, I feel it is imperative to speak out and say that this hateful rhetoric is not welcome here.

“Cheektowaga is a welcoming community where we support our neighbors. Instead of allowing hate-filled agendas to gain traction in our community, we will continue to look out for all of our neighbors and value the growing diversity that makes Cheektowaga a great community.”
