Simpson Expresses Gratitude to Leader Barclay Upon His Decision Not to Seek Re-Election

A Statement from Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Adirondack).

“I want to thank Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) for his service and leadership to our Conference. He has stood strong for our shared principles. Since becoming Minority Leader, Will has led with wisdom and a genuine focus on fighting for common-sense solutions that put hardworking families first,” said Simpson.

“Will has been a true friend and mentor to so many of us in the Conference. Will’s 23 years of service have left a lasting legacy on New York state. I wish Will and his family all the best in this next chapter. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had him as a leader and a colleague,” Simpson concluded.
