Slater To Host Senior Health Fair in Westchester and Putnam County

New York State Assemblyman Matt Slater (R,C-Yorktown) will be hosting two Senior Health Fairs within the 94th District this fall. With a district that encompasses towns that reside in Westchester and Putnam County, providing a fair in each county will allow for all constituents to learn about resources available to them. Services including elder-care attorneys, assisted-living facilities, telehealth, organizations that assist in Alzheimer’s and memory care and county services for seniors will be in attendance. “Our seniors play a vital role in our community and making sure they and their families are aware of all the outstanding resources that are out there ready to assist and support them is important,” says Slater.

“The first Senior Health Fair will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 11 from 10 a.m.- noon at the Jefferson Village Community Room. The second Senior Health Fair, in coordination with Putnam County Office of Senior Resources and Putnam County Hospital, will be on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 10 a.m.- noon at the William Koehler Memorial Senior Center. Any questions can be directed to Assemblyman Slater’s District office at 845-278-2923.
