Byrnes Invites All to Electronics Recycling Event

Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes (R,C-Caledonia) is partnering with Sunnking and state Sen. Pam Helming to host an electronics recycling event for constituents of the 133rd Assembly District this Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023. The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack parking lot by the Route 96 entrance.

Prior registration is required, and constituents can sign up on Sunnking’s website here: https://form.jotform.com/Sunnking/eo-farmington.

“While we only have one planet that we all care about protecting, in this day and age everyone has old and unused electronics that can be recycled at events like these,” said Byrnes. “That is why I am so pleased to offer this simple, safe and eco-friendly way to help save constituents time and money. Simply sign up, drive up and the employees at Sunnking will recycle your electronics in a few minutes. People can drive off knowing they have finally crossed that ‘to do’ off their list, saved money and protected our environment all at the same time. Looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday at the event and thank you to Sunnking for their partnership!”

Items that can be recycled at the event include cellphones, computers, monitors and televisions, printers, audio and visual equipment, small electronic devices, keyboards, and other equipment.
