Bronx, NY – Following up on the Democracy in Action events that had over 500 people attend a pair of town hall meetings at the end of 2018, Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz will be hosting a town hall on Woodlawn Neighborhood and Legislative Priorities. At previous meetings, constituents asked a wide array of questions ranging from local concerns about potholes and poor bus service to legislative concerns about housing policy and single-payer healthcare.

Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz launched his Democracy in Action series last fall in order to hear directly from constituents about what they want to see happen both in their own neighborhoods and in Albany. Dinowitz has historically been among the most accessible Assemblymembers in New York, and it is common for him to host meetings in his office with constituents to discuss their concerns and how those can be addressed.

The town hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at 7pm at the Rambling House located at 4292 Katonah Avenue. The meeting is open to the general public as well as media outlets. Questions from constituents will be prioritized.
