Blumencranz Sponsored Internship & Job Fair for College and High School Students

Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz (R,C-Oyster Bay) sponsored an Internship & Job Fair event for college and high school students this past Saturday, April 1. Several employers attended the fair, including Doyle Securities, Amazon, Northwell Health, Camps R Us, YMCA Long Island and more. Also in attendance were Nassau County Legislator Rose Walker and Representative of Nassau County Minority Affairs Lionel Chitty. Students from Bethpage High School and the Young Explorers of the Nassau County Law Enforcement Program visited the fair seeking out internships and employment opportunities.

“I would like to give a huge thank you to all the employers and students who made the internship and job fair a success,” said Blumencranz. “It’s great to see our youth taking the necessary steps to put themselves out there and discover new opportunities, and it’s great to see employers take the time to highlight their businesses and organizations so students can learn more about them in a professional, in-person setting. This fair was a lot of fun, and I hope the students left with some promising information about available internships and jobs that would be the perfect fit for them and their future goals.”
