Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) proudly recognized members of the Division Avenue High School Key Club for their large donation to his annual pet food drive which ran this past Spring.

“I am pleased to recognize a wonderful group of students and administrators from Division Avenue High School’s Key Club who stepped up to donate to needy local pets and their families,” McDonough said. “Many times, families who have fallen on difficult times struggle to provide for their pets, resulting in them going hungry or being given up to shelters – a tragic result. In partnering with Long Island Cares, we are working to see that no pets go hungry and build a stronger network for our furry friends. I thank the Key Club and Long Island Cares for their donations and consistent support of my pet food drive.”
