Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) recently joined students from SUNY Old Westbury to discuss New York State government and how politics, economics and law are intertwined in the policy-making process. During the discussion, McDonough also focused on the important role local officials can play in serving local residents. “There is nothing more important to me than helping my constituents,” said McDonough.

SUNY Old Westbury is located on a wooded 604-acre campus centrally located on Long Island. The campus is home to 3,300 students from across the U.S. and more than 20 foreign countries.
