DiPietro to Dedicate Portion of State Route 16 as the ‘Petty Officer Robert Segool Memorial Highway’

Assemblyman David DiPietro (R,C-East Aurora) will recognize and honor decorated Vietnam veteran Robert “Frenchie” Segool in South Wales, Saturday, July 22 at noon by dedicating a portion of State Route 16 between Emery Road and Darling Road as the ‘Petty Officer Robert Segool Memorial Highway.’ Segool received a total of 67 medals, awards and commendations, including five Purple Hearts, two Silver Stars and four Bronze Stars with Combat Valor in recognition of his brave military service.
