Farmington, NY- Is that old laptop gathering dust in the closet? Are you holding on to a tangle of forgotten cords? It's time to clear the clutter and make a positive impact! Assemblywoman Andrea Bailey and Senator Pam Helming invite you to a Free Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday, Sept. 13th, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack.
Safely dispose of old or unwanted electronics, including computers, TVs, printers, cell phones, and more—all at no cost! This event is open to residents only—no businesses, please. We're teaming up with the experts at Sunnking Sustainable Solutions to make it easy and convenient for you to safely dispose of your devices and protect our environment. Delaware North, once again, this year, will be providing the parking area at the Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack to hold this community event.
"This is a great way to protect the environment and get rid of unwanted electronics like TVs, computers and other items. Last year, hundreds of people took advantage of this free and convenient service, and as a result, several tons of electronic materials were properly recycled. I hope we have another great turnout this year!" said Sen. Helming.
Assemblywoman Andrea Bailey added, “I’m proud to partner with Sen. Pam Helming and Sunnking to bring this valuable service to our community. Every device we recycle helps reduce waste and protect our natural resources. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to properly dispose of outdated electronics and keep them out of our landfills. So please, register today and help keep our communities clean.”
Please note: Pre-registration is required to attend this event. Spots are filling quickly. Don't miss out on your chance to responsibly recycle your old tech! If you need any help with registration, you can call Sunnking's main line at 585-637-8365.
