Queens, NY – Yesterday, Assemblywoman Alicia L. Hyndman hosted a highly successful and widely attended Parent Coordinator Appreciation Breakfast at the historic Antun’s in Queens Village. This dedicated morning was designed to celebrate the indispensable liaisons who serve as the backbone of the Southeast Queens school community. The event, marked by seamless coordination and enthusiastic punctuality from all guests, offered a moment of profound gratitude for the professionals who tirelessly bridge the gap between families and our educational institutions. 

The morning commenced with a welcoming check-in process that set a tone of warmth, fellowship, and community. Assemblywoman Hyndman opened the formal program with captivating remarks, emphasizing the vital, often unsung, role that Parent Coordinators play in fostering student success and school cohesion.

"Parent Coordinators are the true heartbeat of our educational ecosystem," Assemblywoman Hyndman noted. The program was further elevated by addresses from distinguished educational leaders, including Dr. Josephine Yeboah Van-Ess, Superintendent of Queens South High Schools, and Dr. Robin Davson, District 29 Community Superintendent.
