LEGISLATIVE ACTION

The Legislature concurs with the Executive recommendation.

Article VII

The Legislature denies the Executive proposal to establish a market-based index 
for determining the rate of interest to be applied in court judgements against the 
State, local governments and certain public authorities. 

The Legislature denies the Early Retirement Incentive proposed by the Executive, 
but did enact a modified early retirement program as part of the budget.
