Statement From Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R-C, Canandaigua)

"Christmas is a time of celebration, reflection and an opportunity to enjoy the company of our loved ones. As we gather with family and friends this holiday, I hope New Yorkers reflect on the true meaning of Christmas as the season of giving and love.

I want to personally thank the generous individuals who continue to exemplify the spirit of the season. Those who have donated time or resources to charitable organizations and initiatives make Christmas a little brighter for neighbors who are less fortunate.

Many New Yorkers will travel great distances to reunite with loved ones. There are sure to be countless holiday activities and events in communities all across New York. I urge all of you to travel safely and celebrate cheerfully, but also responsibly.

On behalf of my entire family, I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas."
