Legislative Disabilities Awareness Day is an opportunity for Assembly members and advocates for the disability community to raise awareness of the needs of those living with disabilities. The day featured artwork from students, speakers, educational seminars, and an award ceremony for Michael Seereiter, who was presented the Dr. Henry Viscardi Jr. Advocacy award for showing an outstanding commitment to helping those in the disability community.
