Statement From Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C-Canandaigua) On Assembly Majority Passage Of Abortion Bill
"New York's representatives should be focused on educating, assisting and developing options for women and families facing personal challenges. The legislation passed by the Majority today does nothing to advance those efforts, but instead creates greater ambiguity on who can perform abortions and when they can be performed. The Assembly Majority passed a law that already exists, and claims to protect women's 'health' yet refuses to define what that means. This is a misguided and unnecessary bill."
