Johns: State Budget Should Be Transparent & Basic

A Statement from Assemblyman Mark Johns (R,C,I,Ref-Webster)
March 24, 2020

“In these times of uncertainty, the state Legislature has an even greater obligation to make sure the public knows what is in the state budget. To my colleagues, let’s not load the budget up with hidden policies and extraneous non-fiscal matters. Let’s have true transparency. Let’s get a basic budget passed by April 1 that ensures the state can continue functioning and serves the best interests of the people during this public health crisis.”
