Assemblyman Kevin Byrne (R,C,I,SAM,ROS-Mahopac) partnered with students from John F. Kennedy Elementary School to get Valentines cards to men and women serving our country at home and abroad through United For The Troops’ Operation Cupid. United for the Troops will include these cards in their care packages that they send out to members of our military.
“Thank you to all the amazing students form JFK Elementary School in Brewster for the beautiful Valentine’s Day cards they made to support United for the Troops’ Operation Cupid,” said Byrne. “The personal cards they made will be delivered to our brave military men and women serving overseas. We thank our young people for their heartfelt cards and, as always, thank our amazing members of the military for their service to our country.”
“Thank you to all the wonderful students at JFK Elementary for their generous cards that they made with love for our military,” said Jim Rathschmidt of United for the Troops. “These cards will surely bring many smiles to our military members in the coming weeks. Thanks to Assemblyman Byrne and his office for their part in helping us get these valentines out to our military community.”
United for the Troops is charitable organization that was created by Jim and Patty Rathschmidt that sends out care packages to United States military.
