Curran Decries Treatment of Judge Lasalle

Statement from Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st A.D.)

“One of the most important jobs the Senate has is to consider the nomination of a chief judge to the state Court of Appeals. Unfortunately for the people of New York, Majority in the Senate are not taking this job seriously.”

“Every nominee who comes before the Senate deserves a fair and respectful process. However, what we have seen so far is that the progressive left will use every tool available to them in order to deny that process to Judge LaSalle.”

“I am calling on Senate Majority to put their ideology aside and give all nominees, including Judge LaSalle, a fair nomination process going forward.”
