New York State Assembly Committee on Small Business

Below are the activities of the Assembly Small Business Committee thru the month of March 2010. As you can see from the following list of bills that came through the Small Business Committee, we have made some progress in our efforts to bring improvements to the small business community.

A.350 (Latimer)
S.5041(Hassell-Thompson)

Establishes the small business crime prevention services to provide small businesses with information on strategies, best practices and programs offering training and assistance in prevention of crimes in and around the premises of small businesses or otherwise affecting small businesses.

S.3477 (Perkins)

This bill creates a niche markets assistance program to assist small manufactures and food processing businesses in promoting economic development.

This bill improves New York's business climate by providing for a program of small business energy assistance and advocacy.
