Delivering For Allegany County
Our economy relies on the health of our local towns and villages. That is why Joe Giglio is working to ensure that towns and villages throughout Allegany County receive state aid to improve infrastructure, promote economic growth, and prosper. This year, Joe helped secure:

arrow 5% Increase from the Aid & Incentives for Municipalities Program-$394,547 in direct state aid to help deliver services to the residents of our local towns and villages in Allegany County

20% Increase in Consolidated Street and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPS) Funding for Allegany County, Towns and Villages-$3.24 million to help municipalities finance the construction, reconstruction, or improvement of local roads, bridges, and road-railroad crossings

Providing Funding for Local Libraries

Libraries are an essential part of the community, and that is why Joe continues his fight to ensure they have the resources to meet the needs of their communities. This year, Joe helped secure $269,052 in general aid for Southern Tier libraries.

He also helped secure $14 million in state-wide library funding in the State Budget to help local libraries with their various reconstruction and renovation projects.
