Brian Kolb is leading the fight to deliver real property tax relief.

Kolb’s multi-part solution:

PROPERTY TAX CAP:

Cap property taxes at a maximum increase of four percent annually or the rate of inflation — whichever is lower.

CIRCUIT BREAKER:

Provide a mechanism for the adjustment of property taxes based on a homeowner’s ability to pay, while holding localities harmless.

BAN UNFUNDED MANDATES:

Unfunded Mandates are when the state tells localities to do something, but doesn’t provide funding. Banning Unfunded Mandates will reduce costs for local governments, resulting in lower property taxes.
