Bipartisan support for a tax cap is growing and Gary is at the forefront of the fight. He is currently a cosponsor of a bill that would help lower your tax bill the following ways:

Cap total property tax levies, not individual assessments, to make certain every homeowner and business is provided relief.

Ensure voters have the final say–any override of the tax limit must be approved by 2/3 of the taxpayers.

Reduce the strain on local government and school budgets by requiring the state to fund any mandate that would cost more than $10,000.

Lower County Medicaid costs by having the state pay for all optional services.
