Fought to REJECT $2.1 billion in increased taxes and fees in this year's budget including:
- the 4% state sales tax on clothing and footwear under $110
- state sales tax on gasoline
- cable and satellite television and radio services
- haircuts, nail salon visits and other personal services items
- movie tickets, sporting events and other entertainment-related purchases
- non-diet soft drinks
- digital downloads such as music and photography
- store coupons
- $10 filing fee if you file your state taxes via mail (paper tax return)
- eliminating the exemption on capital improvements on homes
