I believe we need to ease the heavy tax burden that the hard-working families of Nassau County have to deal with on a daily basis. Clearly, what Long Islanders need is long-term, meaningful property tax relief that will enable more homeowners and businesses to live the American dream. With that said, it is important that I try, in any way I can, to help people save as much of their hard-earned money as possible. I have learned that many homeowners have not applied for the STAR program. That means you’re paying too much in taxes for no reason at all.

Simply stated, the STAR program will save you thousands of dollars on your school taxes. All you need to do is fill out the application and the savings begins! This is a program I am very proud to promote.

This special mailing was developed to alert homeowners about this important tax savings program.

In an effort to assist our greater community, my office stands ready to help homeowners sign up for STAR today! On the left is my special STAR sign-up plan.

Finally, please remember to fill out your application for the totally separate program called Tax Rebate-NY. If you are a homeowner, your application will be mailed directly to you. Fill it out ASAP and mail it to get your tax rebate check sent to you!
