Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,I,C – Batavia) was recently ranked the top Pro-Jobs supporter in the 212-member state Legislature. Sharing the honor with several other Assembly Minority colleagues, Hawley received a 92 percent score from The Business Council of New York State on a number of bills, which came before the Legislature this past year, of critical importance to New York’s economy.
“My number one priority has always been, and will always be, getting Western New Yorkers back to work, and that’s why I am so proud to have earned the top Pro-Jobs ranking by The Business Council,” said Hawley. “My commitment to improving New York’s economy has never wavered and, over the past year, I have been able to partner with Governor Cuomo in re-opening New York for business. By lowering taxes, reducing regulations and supporting our cornerstone industries, I am confident that we will continue to see the economic growth that Western New Yorkers need.”
