Assemblymember Shelley Mayer (D-Yonkers) will host an Open House on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at her District Office in Yonkers to meet constituents and hear their concerns. The District Office is located at 35 East Grassy Sprain Road, Room 406B. The Open House will run from 4pm to 7pm and all constituents are invited to drop by. Refreshments will be served.
Assemblymember Mayer said:
“I want my constituents in Yonkers to understand that I have an open door and a commitment to meeting and listening to their concerns. We will continue to have an Open House for constituents every month, where my staff and I will be available to help with any issues and problems they wish to raise.”
The Assemblywoman also announced today that she had been assigned as a Member of the following Assembly committees: Cities; Children & Families; Corporations, Authorities and Commissions; and Tourism, Parks, Arts and Sports Development.
She stated:
“I look forward to serving on these important committees and fighting for legislation that will help the residents of Yonkers, especially our families and our businesses, so that our City can continue to grow and prosper. As a longtime advocate for Yonkers and for children throughout the state, I am particularly pleased to be named to the Cities and Children and Families committees. I encourage my constituents to share their proposals and ideas on these and other issues that impact the City and its residents.”
