Recently, Assemblyman Phil Palmesano (R,C,I-Corning) enjoyed a productive meeting with local attendees of the New York State Association of Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Capital Day. The event provides 4-H participants with an opportunity to learn more about state government, raise awareness about careers in public service and network with 4-H delegates from across the state.

“I want to thank these young people for making the trip to Albany, and I want to thank their chaperones for taking time out of their busy schedules to help these kids enjoy such a rewarding experience,” said Palmesano. “It’s important to expose service-minded young people to the governmental process. The 4-H motto, “Learn by doing,” is a lesson that these kids have taken to heart. I was extremely impressed with them and I hope they return to the Capitol again.”
