Mikulin On AG Schneiderman, Domestic Violence

A statement from Assemblyman John Mikulin (R,C,I,Ref-Bethpage)

“I came to Albany to help change a culture of corruption, deceit and unethical behavior. Now, in my second week as a member of the Assembly, allegations of deplorable acts of domestic violence and abuse against women have surfaced about Attorney General Eric Schneiderman – the state’s top law enforcement official. I want to be very clear that this is unacceptable. Good men – good people – do not hit, abuse or mistreat women in any way. My wife, and many other important women in my life, holds a special place in my heart. We should honor women, not abuse them.

“I will work hard to fight and prevent domestic violence and abuse in any form during my tenure in the New York State Assembly.”
