April 23, 2018

Assemblyman James Skoufis (D-Woodbury) has announced a $9,700 grant to fund the purchase of rain/utility jackets for the Blooming Grove Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

The three-season, rain/utility jackets with reflective trim will increase the first responders’ visibility while on duty as well as protect them from inclement weather.

“The Blooming Grove Volunteer Ambulance Corps appreciates Assemblyman Skoufis’ continued support,” said Chief Brian Bates. “With 61 people on our roster, this funding will go a long way to take care of the safety and comfort of our staff and volunteers.”

“I will always be committed to assisting our Assembly District’s volunteer ambulance corps,” said Assemblyman Skoufis. “They provide a lifesaving, invaluable service to our community residents and I’ll always support their efforts whenever and however possible.”
