Brooklyn, NY – Assemblyman Ortiz was pleased to learn that the Drug Enforcement Administration, along with the New York City Police Department, successfully took down a narcotics ring that was operating out of a Doctor’s office in his district. “The hard work and dedication of the members of the DEA and NYPD is evident today. Their efforts help keep our streets safe and free from drugs. While I was disheartened to learn that this drug ring was being operated out of a local Doctor’s office, I am thankful that the quick action by our Police Officers and the DEA has put a stop to this illegal activity,” stated Assemblyman Ortiz.
