Assemblyman Anthony J. Brindisi (D-Utica) says he has added a link on his website to The Veterans Job Bank.
“As a member of the State Assembly’s Standing Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, I am pleased to provide this link to the Veterans Job Bank on my website for use by veterans, their family members, and employers who are interested in listing jobs there,” Brindisi said.
Brindisi says the Job Bank is part of the National Resource Directory, which is a comprehensive website that provides information on resources at the state, local, and national level for veterans and active duty service members.
The Job Bank is a centralized service that lists employment opportunities for searching by job category, region, and date listed. It also provides employers who are hiring a list of qualified veterans seeking work. The Job Bank includes a search engine that allows veterans looking for work in specific areas to search job listings using tags or key words.
Anyone wanting to use the service can go to assembly.state.ny.us and click on Assemblyman Brindisi’s website under the ‘Assembly Members’ section. The link is listed under ‘Important Links’ under the heading ‘Veterans Job Bank.’
Employers who want to provide job listing information through the job bank can access it from Assemblyman Brindisi’s website.
