“Once again, Governor Spitzer failed to deliver for the working families of Long Island. Instead of lowering our tax burden, so we can improve our quality of life, now we have to pay more simply to go to work. Where is the logic in that? This is a tax on the commuters who work in New York City and help drive that economy; yet, Governor Spitzer has forgotten about us.”
