Assemblyman McKevitt Participates in Toys for Tots

“’Tis the season” to start gathering up any toys that you would like to donate for underprivileged children. Assemblyman McKevitt is sponsoring Toys for Tots this year and hoping that all are willing to share with the community. “Toys for Tots is a great event which I love to participate in. It helps give presents to kids who may not be as fortunate. Everyone deserves a little holiday cheer and this is a great way to support our community,” McKevitt stated.

Toys for Tots helps to show kids how they can give back and share with other children as well. During the holiday season, it is important to remember other families and members of the community who are struggling and need support. Toys for Tots delivers a message of hope and caring to the kids around us. “With the help of our community members, we can ensure a festive and shining holiday season. All donations are welcomed through December 19th. A donation box will be in my district office which is located at 224 Seventh Street, 2nd Floor, Garden City.”

“This season, let’s all work together to make sure that everyone has a great holiday and that no one is left out. The holidays are a time of giving and love. I am more than happy to be affiliated with Toys for Tots and will do all that I can to provide a happy and healthy holiday season to my constituents.”
