McKevitt Presents State Grant To Local Girl Scouts

Assemblyman Tom McKevitt (R,C,I-East Meadow) was recently joined by Frances Monahan, Associate Executive Director of Girl Scouts of Nassau County, and local girl scouts at a state grant presentation at their headquarters in Garden City. McKevitt presented the organization with a $5,000 state grant for the Ophelia Project, which helps promote emotional, physical, and social safety for young girls.
