POPULATION SERVED: Adults
SERVICES PROVIDED: Individual group counseling, job placement assistance, education and skills training information, health education and counseling, financial and legal information and referrals and general information about special social services that may be required to meet individual needs

DESCRIPTION: Assists displaced homemaker in becoming economically independent by providing the services needed to obtain employment. Services may vary among the 24 statewide Displaced Homemakers Centers operated by 19 contractors.
