PROGRAM INFORMATION
POPULATION SERVED: Adults, in-school and out-of-school youth whose disabilities impose barriers to employment
SERVICES PROVIDED: Evaluation, education, job training, equipment and technology, counseling, guidance, and placement
ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCY: State Education Department
ELIGIBLE SERVICE PROVIDERS: Community rehabilitation agencies, BOCES, trade schools, colleges and universities, and specialized vendors for transportation and vehicle modifications

DESCRIPTION: Professional vocational rehabilitation counselors across New York State in VESID's 15 District Offices and 10 outstations help people with disabilities choose careers that are consistent with their individual interests and abilities and that meet current and future job market opportunities.
