Dear Friends,

The Task Force on People with Disabilities and the Committee on Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities will be hosting the New York State Assembly Legislative Disabilities Awareness Day on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 in Albany. As always, we are looking forward to a day filled with many informative exhibits and interesting events. We also intend to pass a comprehensive legislative package that has been crafted with a great deal of input from disability advocates.

We are very excited about Legislative Disabilities Awareness Day. Please note May 18th on your calendar and plan on spending the day with us. In upcoming weeks, you will receive additional information that will outline the details of the day. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Task Force Director Kimberly Hill at 518-455-4592.
